Whilst the detailed timetable will vary depending on the course and stream that you're participating in, delegates can expect the following key events during the week.

Saturday 1 July

Opening Concert at
St Andrew's Uniting Church

Featuring:

  • Professional Brisbane-Based choral ensemble, One Equal Music

  • Internationally-acclaimed Organist, Calvin Bowman

Note: Registrations open from 11am at Women's College, UQ.  The first event for the week is an all-course choir rehearsal at 4pm.  Delegates are encouraged to arrive between 11am and 3pm.

Sunday 2 July

Opening Eucharist at
St John's Cathedral

Sung by the combined choirs of St John's Cathedral conducted by Dr Graeme Morton AM (Director of Music) and organist Andrew Kouznetsov (Assistant Director of Music)

Monday 3 July

Gala Dinner on the Brisbane River

Taking place at Events on Oxlade, New Farm

Note: if you wish to take part in this dinner, please ensure your select this (below cost) option when you register.  

Tuesday 4 July

Evening Liturgy at the Cathedral of St Stephen

Built in Gothic Revival style between the years of 1870 and 1989, many of the 26 services per week are led by the 3 manual Jubilee Organ built by Knud Smenge.

Friday 7 July

Festival Concert at Brisbane City Hall

Featuring massed choir singing Poulenc's Gloria.  For more information on this breathtaking venue, visit our experiences page.

Saturday 8 July

Course Organ Recital at St John's Cathedral

Featuring Roger Sayer and what many consider to be the finest liturgical organ in the country.  More information on Roger can be found on our Directors page.

Sunday 9 July

Closing Liturgy at
St John's Cathedral

Featuring massed choir singing Vierne's Messe Solennelle and other works. More information on St John's can be found on our experiences page.
