To expand the tradition of church music throughout Australia, the RSCM InSpires National Youth Choir aims to join together a new generation of church musicians. Forming for an intensive season the choir welcomes passionate singers aged 18-28, regardless of religious belief or prior church music experience. Whether you are a church lay clerk or singer fresh from school, the RSCM InSpires National Youth Choir is the place for you. While a member of the choir you will have the opportunity to work with world-renowned conductors, teachers and musicians, perform in some of Australia's most prestigious buildings, and the ability to build a supportive network of like-minded musicians. An annually auditioned ensemble, the choir is open to all singers aged 18 to 28 years old. It is also run in association with the RSCM’s Winter School allowing singers to gain a greater understanding of what it means to be part of the Australian church music community.
The fee for our 9-day season will be $950 per person for the residential option and $350 for non-residential.
